→ Once we decided that excursions are not what one needs when visiting a new town. Because they are boring. Because no one remembers them afterwards. Because you never do anything but just listening idly to what has nothing to do with your own life.
→ Once we decided that when travelling not just the sightseeing matters, but the people around you, too. That a couple of days in a new town can bring both aesthetic impressions and happy memories of being with nice people.
→ Once we decided that we can combine all that. That was how we first had the idea of «Out to Town».

During the two years that followed we have visited 12 towns of Russia and CIS including St. Petersburg, Kyiv, Tver, Kazan, Minsk, Odessa. All of those trips were arranged according to 3 main principles:

Principle #1. Live, not just see

We want to see the town from inside and leave it with a feeling of having lived a whole life there. That’s why we sail boats on the rivers, visit theatres, use the subway, draw on embankments, watch fireworks, talk to people and shop for presents.

Principle #2. Interact with the town

We positively cover the main historical sites of the town learning even more than one could get from a guidebook. That is due to a unique game-oriented program that we specially create for every new town.
Only parallel streets of Minsk center allow to divide it into squares and play the Big Tic-tac-toe straight in the town.
Only Kazan has such an amount of mosques that they can be united into a whole group of cards for a board game of «Monopoly».
Only Odessa can inspire a Jewish party with cooking, dancing and riddling about family traditions of Odessa’s Jews.
Only St. Petersburg scenery can be a good background for the remake of the famous «Irony of fate» which we shoot ourselves, watch together and then post on our website.
This way sightseeing in a new town becomes genuinely interesting.

Principle #3. People are what matters

We’re really concerned about people who travel with us, their self-realization, their communication and the unique spirit of each trip. We’re sure that other than good food and sleep it takes a good company to make a nice journey.
That is why, inspired by the town, our «outgoers» solve crosswords about each other, write diaries on behalf of their neighbors, work out masterclasses in pairs, give each other little presents, play «Mafia», pass self-made psychological tests on getting along, take pictures for «family albums», share impressions every evening and after all just work in teams. As a result in three days they become real friends.
